Rescue Me

Woke up this morning and my mind was all over the place.
Frustrated and disturbed, I need a place to vindicate.
I went to the closet, and Lord it was just me and you.
A prayer and a praise, that was well over due.
So here I am down on my knees, waiting patiently,
Father, so could we talk please?
Lord, I come to you to ask you to help me.
Redeem my mind, for the devil is working on me and being unkind.
I cling to you, O Lord, and ask you to cleanse my soul.
Please help me; don’t let satan take control.
Rescue me through the faith and love I have for you.
Rescue me; free my mind and soul.
Rescue me; and make me a part of your fold.
Rescue me; make me understand what a difference there is
Between God’s and Satan’s plans.

I met some people yesterday who follow God in every way.
They feed the poor and try to serve and follow God and do not swerve.
As I write these words of wit I strive to serve him and will not quit,
so listen closely to all I say and follow him in every way.
If you listen to him and pray he will show you his perfect way.
It won’t be easy but the rewards are great as Gods own word the Bible states.
So give your life to Christ, God’s son

God gives his love to a world filled with so much hate.
We have to look toward the heavens and pray for a better day.
I've been beaten down, my bones - shattered, my body burnt
Tribulation after tribulation,
I come through only with the help of the love and compassion of Christ.
I've been addicted to numerous drugs,
I've been clean for 8 years.
Everything is planned, nothing is coincedence.
Only God's plan - it's up to us to live the life He has planned for us which is not always the easiest path given.
But for me, I follow it to the best acknowledgments
I will always come through as long as I listen to God's Wisdom and not be wise in my own eyes.
I will be strong
I will survive.
